Guthega Inn backs onto ski runs, is close to lifting and enjoys uninterrupted Main Range views.
The majority of guests park at Guthega and are transferred over snow to the Inn, being returned at the end of their stay.
Inn guests lift out using the Blue Calf T-bar or Car-park Chairlift both of which connect to the Guthega Freedom Chair, Mt. Blue Cow, Perisher Valley and Smiggin Holes areas. Note that lift operation may be restricted in early or late season and our rates are tied to “peak” and “fringe” periods. For snow conditions and lift status reports please use the “Snow Cam” button on this page.
There is scope for snow play immediately around the Inn and there is an understanding that some guests are here simply to rest and recharge.
Intermediates and experts can access quality resort and back-country
skiing and riding. Beginners are catered for with green runs and first timers can book over snow transfers (subject to availability) in conjunction with lessons at Blue Cow Snow-Sports School.
The Inn hosts mid week ski mornings and spring time back-country day touring with qualified staff, subject to weather conditions.
Group lessons are available at Blue Cow Snow-Sports School for all standards and age groups. Child All Day programs are available at Perisher Valley which requires transfer to Blue Cow Ski Tube terminal and Ski-Tube to Perisher Valley.
Coaching and race training is provided by the Winter Sports Club. They are located within the nearby Blue Cow Snow-Sports School. The Inn has a long association with ski racing welcoming athletes and coaches. Tuning facilities are available on site and meals can be adjusted to suit programs. A ski or snowboard hand tuning service is available for all guests, advice based on inspection.
Perisher lift passes and equipment hire are available from Guthega terminal.
Snow-shoes are available in house for guest use at no cost and are a great way to explore or get that special photograph.
In the event that guests would like to “get off the hill” to explore the region the Inn can assist with advice and recommendations.
